Lynda.com
Lynda.com is a collection of online video tutorials available to all UWL students and staff. Topics include basic IT skills (PowerPoint, Word etc), more advanced software including video editing and animation as well as general topics such as marketing and presentation skills.
Accessing Lynda.com
Go to Lynda.com and login with your UWL username and password. The Lynda Help Guide (pdf, 418 kb) contains further details.

UWL Reading Lists
The Library’s Reading List system, UWLReadingLists, is the best way to organise and present your reading lists to students. You can link to your reading lists from Blackboard.

OneDrive and Skype for Business (Office 365)
OneDrive and Skype for Business are part of Office 365, which is available to all staff and students.
OneDrive is the university’s online file storage system. You can use OneDrive to store and edit files such as Word documents. For teaching and learning it can be used by students for collaborating on documents or storing and updating records such as placement logs.
Skype for Business is the university’s online video conferencing system. It provides text, audio and video communication via your computer. For teaching and learning it could be used for one-to-one tutorials or to host group webinars.

Box of Broadcasts (BoB)
Box of Broadcasts (BoB) is a shared TV and radio recording service providing on demand TV and radio for education. BoB allows UWL staff and students to record recently aired programmes from over 65 channels and provides access to over one million recordings. The service is supported by the Library: see Box of Broadcasts on the Library website.
Recordings from BoB can be added to your Blackboard courses as links or within a page.
