Community

The University Pedagogic Research and Scholarship Community was formally formed to:

Further the development of inclusive, interdisciplinary research and scholarship which will have direct impact on teaching and learning in higher education locally, nationally and internationally.

In supporting each other with our relevant expertise, skills and experience, the community will enhance engagement both across disciplines and with students. Indeed we encourage students as members of the community. It is not expected that everyone who engages with the community will be submitted to the REF 2020 but we recognise that each member brings something unique that as a community we can build an environment dedicated to the advancement of teaching, learning and pedagogic research.

Please share this information with other colleagues who might be interested to join the community.

The Journal Club

The Journal Club offers the opportunity for colleagues to have scholarly discussions around set topics. This allows us to flex our academic brains and have the kind of discussion we always assumed that university staff had. If you want to be part of this experience then you can sign up using Eventbrite.
