Week 1:
Nuke 3D and Camera Projection

Learning to apply a texture to an object

Viewing the applied texture in 3D space
Tunnel Camera Projection
We have an animated camera in the scene, and now need to project a tunnel image onto a cylinder we have just brought into the scene, to act as if we are zooming into the tunnel. This creates some depth to a basic 2d image, acting as if a camera was moving through the tunnel.

Tunnel image projected onto a cylinder

Rotated the cylinder and looking at the projected image through the camera
There are two methods for projecting:

We delete the animation from the project cam creating a still image and keep the animation on the render cam creating the animation

Adding a frame hold to the first frame of the image and as the animated camera moves through the tunnel the effect takes place
Prison Cell Projection:
We brought in 4 identical images of a room resembling a cell and rotoscoped each section of the room (ceiling, right/left/back wall, and floor).
