I write this letter of introduction with regards to your recent job advertisement for backstage technical management and enclose a copy of my C.V. for your attention.

I am a recent graduate from the London College of Music wishing to pursue a career within Musical Theatre and Performing Arts and would like to gain further experience into the administrative, backstage and technical work behind productions within a theatre environment

My past experience includes backstage technical crewing and lighting design on numerous semi – professional and professional shows for Polka Dot Academy of Performing Arts at numerous venues across the country as part of their production tours. Further work experience includes set design, construction, merchandising and “get in” work for Polka Dot Pantomimes during their Panto seasons.

I am computer literate and will bring to an opportunity personal qualities of focus, commitment and attention to detail, combined with a “can do” attitude and enthusiasm to gain additional experience and further develop a career within the performing and technical aspects of live production.
