West London rapper Digga D, has landed 3rd in this week’s album charts with his second mixtape “Made in the Pyrex”, despite being the most streamed album this week. The mixtape narrowly came in behind Maximo Parks “Nature Always Win” at number 2 and Architects “For Those That Always Win” which topped the chart this week. This is his highest chart position to date as his first mixtape “Double tap diaries” peaked at 11 in 2019.
“Made in the Pyrex” was his first mixtape since coming out jail last year. Since he came out, the drill rapper has an injunction which means he has had to censor his lyrics. In an interview with Official Charts he said
“This tape means a lot to me,” and “I’ve been able to get a lot off my chest that I haven’t been able to since my last tape Double Tap Diaries.”
The Mixtape currently has three songs in the Top 40 of the Singles chart with “Bringing it back” featuring AJ Tracey, “Bluuwuu” and “Toxic”, which is currently sitting at 21,23 and 35 in the Top 40.
