Last week schools in England reopened their doors to high levels of pupils according to the First Attendance Figures.
By the end of last week, 95% of Primary School pupils were back in classes, meanwhile, 89% of secondary school pupils returned to school despite the return of students having to be staggered. Which still managed to be the highest proportion of secondary school pupils in school since the first lockdown began a year ago – with a further 2% waiting for a phased return this week.
The National Association of Head Teachers has said, “Certainly for primary schools, the return of all pupils appears to have gone smoothly.”
