£34.5 million stolen in Pandemic scams

Over the Pandemic, The Action Fraud team have said that £34.5 million have been stolen in England, Northern Ireland and Wales. 

While, the UK police forces reported more than six thousand cases of Covid- related fraud and cyber-crime. 

The National Cyber Security Centre has also said that they are tackling around 30 “significant attacks” a month against the country’s pandemic response infrastructure. 

The NHS, vaccine producers and vaccine supply chains are some of the organisations that have been targeted by scammers.
