Notting Hill & Ealing High School raised the money for The Log Cabin charity by running the Ealing half marathon on the 26th of September.

The school put together a team of 40, which included the headmaster, staff and parents and the money was raised to help build a new playground for the charity, which creates safe spaces and clubs for children with special needs and/or disabilities.

Fundraiser manager at the club, Monique McGoey-Rabone said:

“Many local families with children with disabilities or additional needs rely on our service to provide respite and short-breaks so we can’t thank the pupils, staff and parents at Notting Hill & Ealing High School enough for their continued support of The Log Cabin Charity.”

The school has been a long-time supporter of the Log Cabin charity and have run the Ealing half marathon for many years. As quoted by charity manager and teacher at the school Sophie Johnson saying:

“As a school, we have a tradition of running the Ealing Half for the Log Cabin and it is so pleasing to see new faces join the team each year. We hope the funds we are raising for the charity, will help enable their new playground.”
