Local climate group, ActForEaling, launch by starting a photography competition. It was formed in 2020 with the aim of helping the council’s climate target to go net zero by 2030.The group is looking for pictures showing positive climate action and nature restoration within the borough that show the beauty of Ealing.
The organisation is will be working in tandem with Northfields Camera Club who will be providing a panel of judges to judge entries to the competition. The comedian Mel Giedroyc will also be attending, stating:
“I am thrilled to find out about all the different ways local residents are responding to climate action in the borough”.
The photos selected will be posted online on the ActForEaling website as well as local exhibitions around the area. The Competition will be judging on three separate categories for the photos including Green Shoots (children’s competition), Climate in the community, and Sustainable Generations.
To enter the competition participants must enter online on the ActForEaling website by 11:59 on the 24th of October.
