The University of West London has recently introduced Ask for Angela scheme in their Cafe, Bar and Gym. This service is already taking place in venues across Britain to help people who feel uncomfortable in bars, get out from dangerous situations in a quiet and safe way.
Ask for Angela will support students and will guarantee a safe environment across the campus. The process is easy and immediate: if someone feels like they’re in a dangerous circumstance, they can go to talk to the univeristy staff and say ‘’Hi can I speak to Angela?’’, and they will know that you need help.
Staff members have been trained, and they will follow all the necessary procedures to make their students safe.
