Green Finance played a part in many of the initiatives mentioned by chancellor Rishi Sunak in today’s Budget, including a new investment relief to encourage companies to adopt green technologies. Among other things, Shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves MP criticised chancellor Rishi Sunak’s lack of focus on climate issues as we approach the COP26 event.
We spoke to the sustainability expert from green energy consultancy DNV – Shuhaib Maudarbaccus, about his thoughts on the UK’s shift from oil-powered to electric-powered vehicles.
