COVID-19 vaccine rollout for under 11’s looks more likely

According to reports, children aged five and up could soon be added to the UK’s COVID vaccine strategy.

While such measures would be taken to lower future infection rates in the coming years, the proposal has been kept quiet over fears of a backlash from parents.

The United States, Canada, and Israel have all already released their own plans to begin vaccinating children or have already begun.

Although young children have a much lower chance of becoming seriously ill from COVID-19, they can still pass the disease on to others.

We asked members of the public their thoughts on the issue.
