Bond Title Sequence:

The music file got corrupted so here is my updated version.

The sequence is supposed to have a storyline of betrayal. At first, there’s a duo in a trio of spy assassins. Noor and Roshik plot to kill Khush as she’s working with their antagonist spy: Romar. However, in the end Khush turns Noor against Roshik and I’m killed. To keep the theme of secrets in the title sequence, I made some clips shaky, blurry and fast-paced; this is supposed to make the viewers feel that they’re watching through a hidden camera. The circle masking of silhouettes lets the viewers eye track motion easily and keeps the element of secrecy in the clips.

The music becomes upbeat when Khush and Noor walk away to show that the plot twist started. I made sure the audio is instrumental so the focus stays on the clips. I chose this music as the low and suspenseful tone emphasises to the viewers that they’re being let into the secret world of Bond. The repetition indicates how hard it is to leave the loop of being a spy and living a secret.

I used a lot of layer and shape animation; keying, tracking and 3D space. I wanted to use more Maya techniques, however my Maya was acting up a lot when rendering. I did manage to include dynamic animation.
