Be aware that timetabled bookings can be sheduled from Monday to Friday. Please see individual timetables posted outside room for further information.
Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
Power is turned off at 5 but the room is available until 9:30
Weekends 9:00am – 4:30pm
Power is off but the room is available until 4:30
General information
- In order to print positives for screen printing please first purchase tracing paper from the distribution room. You can then print your digital positive on the black and white laser printed available in BY.02.019. There is a hand out detailing how to do this step by step. For assistance with this please contact William Appleby during an open access session.
- Housekeeping is essential in technical areas or you risk being banned (please see induction information).
- You will need to pay for consumables; please see a technician for a pay slip and pay in The Distribution Room.

- Flat non-slip fully enclosed shoes

- Fabric scissors

- Please don’t wear your best clothes when using this facility, often materials spill or stain.
- Health and Safety guidance should be followed at all times.
- Certain equipment cannot be used unless supervised by a qualified technician.
