Breakout groups is a feature within in Blackboard collaborate Ultra that enables interaction amongst students. When a moderator (lecturer) starts Breakout groups students are set up in either randomly or manually assigned groups. Once within those groups, students become ‘presenters’ within their groups allowing them to share content/screens/applications as well as the collaborate whiteboards.
