How to get access to your Blackboard courses
Staff enrolment on to Blackboard courses happens in 3-ways:
- Module leaders are enrolled automatically when the course is created. This is based on the Module Leader list in Unit-e. The list is maintained by the Senior Administrative Officers (SAOs).
- Module leaders can enrol other staff on to their Blackboard course.
- Number of staff have a ‘Course Manager’ role and can enrol colleagues on any course. This varies by Schools, for more information see the Teaching Hub.
Please see Merging Blackboard Courses and Copying Content on the Teaching Hub for further advice on preparing for 2018-19. We need to know of any courses that need merging as soon as possible to avoid delays in the run-up to teaching.
UWL has recently approved a new CPD Framework which offers a range of events for staff to enhance their professional practice and develop specific skills. These events are offered by a range of Schools/Departments and continue throughout the year. To book an event please check Eventbrite.
