The University of West London uses a structured, developmental approach to Personal Tutoring. The special relationship between Personal Tutor and students is intended to provide inclusive support, and to enable students to maximise their learning potential. Group tutorials are supplemented by a self-access Blackboard module, to provide students with personal, professional and academic development opportunities, while students can receive individual support in self- initiated 1:1 tutorials. The approach is forward looking and positive, encouraging students to be autonomous and reflective.

CPD workshops and support for Personal Tutors
