This year’s Festival of Learning will take place at St Mary’s Road on July 3rd 2019. The title of the Festival is ‘What’s the point of Feedback’ and will cover peer to peer feedback and feedforward to staff and students. We will announce the opening of submissions in January and we encourage all staff at UWL and our partner institutions to consider contributing to the Festival. The sub-themes for the Festival are:
Student perceptions of feedback
Developing academic practice through mentoring and coaching
Using technology for feedback
Feedback vs Feedforward
Student voices – the role of feedback in developing curricula and student success
Inclusivity in relation to feedback and its practice
Role of feedback in developing research and researchers.
Application guidance and forms will be available from the Teaching Hub/Staff Development/Festival of L&T /Festival of L&T 2019 in January. The closing date for submissions is March 18th.
