With Blackboard’s new content editor, it is no longer possible to paste images as part of content. In case you try to do this, you will receive an error due to that. The alternative is to embed the image or other file content using a new feature included with the new editor. The video below contains guidance on how to attach images to announcements, but the same could be replicated across all other sections of Blackboard.
