Blackboard is not designed to store large files. If you have a large file it is better to link to these in another storage area such as OneDrive, SharePoint and if a video file then UWL Replay/ Panopto would be more suitable.
Some guidance on uploading files to another storage area is available below:

Once these are uploaded to these storage areas a link can be added to Blackboard to make these available to your Blackboard Module users.
