Lynda.com is a video library of engaging, high-quality online courses taught by recognized industry experts. It is available for free to all UWL students and staff.Lynda.com can be accessed via Blackboard (click the Lynda.com tab at the top of the home page) or directly from Lynda.com. Use your UWL credentials to log in.

Topics include basic IT Skills (PowerPoint, Word etc), more advanced software including video editing and animation as well as general topics such as business, marketing, technology, creative skills and presentation skills. BoB is an on-demand TV and radio service for education which allows staff and students to record programmes from over 65 free-to-air channels, and search the archive of over 2 million broadcasts.

It can be accessed at the following URL: https://learningonscreen.ac.uk/ondemand. From the list of organisations, select “University of West London” and log in using your UWL credentials.

  • Access 2 million broadcasts dating back to the 1990s
