With the recent changes in creating manual recordings, we have made this guide available to allow you to record your sessions manually while you are teaching. Using the Panopto application to record manually has several advantages over other recording methods. Some of these advantages include the following:

  1. You can pause your recording and resume without having to stop it and create a new one.
  2. In case your recording does not upload to your module once completed, we can retrieve the recording files from the room in which you recorded it and assist in recovering the video. This requires you to tell us the room in which you created the recording.

In case of any problems while you are in the room, please call IT’s dedicated Classroom Support number, x2201, to receive immediate support.

The guides provided below will show you how to create your recordings manually using the 2 available options.
